Editorial policy

Brick to Brick publishes reader-first triathlon guidance. Accuracy, safety, and usefulness take priority over traffic or affiliate revenue.

How we research

We prefer official governing bodies and race organizers for rules and event facts, peer-reviewed research and qualified professional organizations for health and nutrition, and primary manufacturer documentation for product specifications. Consequential claims should link to the source that supports them and identify regional or population limits.

How we use AI

Automation may assist with research organization, drafting, formatting, or quality checks. It is not treated as evidence. Material facts must be checked against appropriate sources, and content is not published merely to capture search variations.

Product coverage

Unless a page names a tester and explains the test protocol, product comparisons are research-based rather than hands-on reviews. They use documented specifications, compatibility information, intended use, maintenance needs, and clearly stated evaluation criteria. Affiliate relationships do not determine conclusions.

Health and training limitations

Our calculators and general guidance are planning aids, not diagnoses or individualized prescriptions. Symptoms, medical conditions, pregnancy, medications, eating concerns, injury, and extreme-environment risks should be discussed with an appropriately qualified clinician, sports dietitian, or coach.

Updates and accountability

Modification dates are changed only after a meaningful review. Rules, prices, specifications, and safety guidance receive more frequent checks than stable fundamentals. Learn how to report an issue in our corrections policy.
